(a new media space) that features an open-plan and flexi-walls.

Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM) is a non-governmental organisation that actively promotes peace, culture and education through personal change and social contribution. Rooted with the core philosophy of humanism, compassion and respect for life, SGM activities are conducted with the shared understanding of the inseparable linkages that exist between individual happiness and the peace and development of the society. Through inner-directed reformation, SGM members hope to contribute to the betterment of their communities and build a society where people of diverse cultures and faiths can live in peace.

The various centres throughout Malaysia serve as venues for a wide range of cultural and educational activities to promote peace, including art and photographic exhibitions, cultural performances, interfaith dialogues,public lectures and seminars.

30 ARTFRIENDS

30 Artfriends is a loose association of 30 art collectors who are joined in friendship by a mutual passion for modern and contemporary Southeast Asian art. The group comprises 15 Malaysian collectors and 15 Singaporean counterparts. They came together to produce a coffee table book entitled 30 Artfriends: Appreciating Southeast Asian Artworks which was launched last year. The publication is an honest depiction of the personal inclinations of each individual collector, and all proceeds from the book sales are contributed or will be contributed to the development of art education and activities in Malaysia and Singapore.

HOM

HOM is an independent art space comprises a gallery, a studio and an archive in Kuala Lumpur and its core aim is to assist and support the development of visual arts in Malaysia. HOM also aspires to improve relations between artists, both locally and abroad. Special emphasis is on ties between Southeast Asian counterparts and these regional links are strengthened through HOM's major programmes and exhibitions including Art Residency, Art Fund and Art Award.
